Vyara Ivanova

Vyara Ivanova graduated from the National Highschool of Applied Arts in Sofia, after which she got her Bachelor´s degree in Art History, Theory and Critics and her Master´s degree in Metal from the National Academy of Arts in Sofia. Today she combines designing contemporary jewelry with teaching art.

Recently she has concentrated on contemporary experimental jewelry. She is focused on working with two mediums: acrylics and metal, silver and brass.
Her core concept is based on creating objects, which possess an inherent designer vision.
She always uses a clean, clear and defined composition, focusing on the relations between the different elements, colours and materials.

The style of her pieces is characterized by big, bold shapes and colours, which instantly turns them into distinctive accents of any outfit.
