You are welcome to visit it during our open doors weekend: October 22 and 23, 2022 from 14:00 – 20:00 h with a welcome drink by AYA Estate! UTOPIA is a collection that presents the idea of a fragile but passionate essence hidden in a strong shell, just as today’s women appear strong and inaccessible on the outside, but at the same time fragile and passionate on the inside.
Timelessly elegant, classically feminine and of course eco-friendly, Eugenio’s new collection is inspired by the abstract art of the French artist Pierre Soulages and his series of paintings completed in May 1953. The predominant black color called “black light” is the leading and in the brand’s winter collection, aiming to immerse us in mystery. The collection’s graphic range of black, gray and white is broken up with bright red and purple as a symbol of deep feelings and passion.
The designer Evgeni Petkov does not betray his style and presents us beautifully made jackets, tight corsets, exposed shoulders and accentuated waists. One of the main highlights of the collection is the “little black dress”, which is presented in trendy new silhouettes and sophisticated fabrics. A timeless classic that is a must-have staple in every woman’s wardrobe. The coats are made of soft wool and follow the curves of the body, with the waist accentuated by additional belts. Skirts and trousers are high-waisted to visually lengthen the figure.
Just like in the paintings of Pierre Soulage, in Eugenio’s new winter collection you will notice a layering of textures and a geometric play in the fabrics used. Fabrics are traditionally cotton, silk, wool, and recycled polyester. Most of the materials used are recycled and dead stock.
The event is part of the annual program of IVAN ASEN 22 for the presentation and support of contemporary designersq supported by National Culture Fund, Bulgaria, under the “One Year Grant” program.
